"The sun was shining and we all splashed each other in the river as we basked in the job of having finished our work."

“Throughout our time here, every time we look around, we see more and more examples of green or environmentally friendly living. At Monkey Bay, they gather, filter, and use all the water they need through cleverly constructed rainwater basins located on the top of all the buildings. Belize has provided us all many examples of how we can be more environmentally friendly.”

Burlington Day School, Belize, 2009
“The Belize Bunch is doing well and everyone back home should be proud of them. Their spirits are amazing as we hiked through desert-like heat and soothed our souls in the coolness of the waterfalls. We ARE happy campers!”

Landon School Belize, 2009
“We successfully renovated the museum in Dangriga yesterday. We did a lot of work and it looks much better now. We repainted approximately 30 tree planters, posted signage, repaired a sculpture of a Garifuna drummer, weeded and cleaned up trash and painted other areas of the facilities. We also made quite a few friends with students from Ecumenical High School.”

Graland Country Day School, Belize, 2009
“Snorkeling was like going into a whole new world under the waves. There were many exotic sea creatures and coral kingdoms. The barracuda was the coolest thing we saw it was huge probably over 3 or 4 feet long with razor-sharp teeth.”
